Wonder Women was released on SonyLIV on November 18 and the Janta had some things to point out!
Written and directed by Anjali Menon, Wonder Women stars Nadiya Moidu, Nithya Menen, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Padmapriya Janakiraman, Sayanora Philip, Archana Padmini and Amruta Subhash in the lead roles. This movie is a cultural fest for people who love different languages. It was made in English but it has touches of Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, and Marathi. Though the movie is receiving a lot of love, The Janta has something to point out!
Wonder Women embarks on a beautiful journey of 6 pregnant women from different backgrounds and very distinct personalities. The story starts when all 6 women start to bond on sisterhood and experience the ups and downs of pregnancy together.
The Janta felt like language and culture were disrespected in some parts of the films. In the end, they really liked the direction of this film and praised Anjali Menon for the same.
Check what else the Janta had to say!
Anjali Menon has achieved a rather rare distinction with #WonderWomen: to have written the worst scene about language politics.

It's been 26 minutes since the film has started, and I'm smiling continuously for every good moment in this feel-good drama. Thanks, Anjali Menon.#WonderWomen (2022) pic.twitter.com/AxztO27lzt

Anjali Menon's #WonderWomen is shockingly bad
Biggest negative is such a short length(1 hr 20 min) when you so many characters in your script. There is absolutely no time or enough situations to invest in or connect with any of the characters. Cant believe Anjali Menon did this!— Fahir Maithutty (@fahir_me) November 19, 2022

After a long time watched a beautiful movie "Wonder Women" directed by Anjali Menon. Nadiya Moidu is just superb. Nithya Menen is always as she is. Amruta Subhash just wow. Story telling so simple but so deep. @MenenNithya @AnjaliMenonFilm #WonderWomen

Yet to watch, but this already seems super Cringe 😑I'm from Kerala, can speak 5 languages & This "Madrasi" narrative is outdated. Anjali Menon should rather have exposed our Malayali method of calling all folks with native beyond & above Maharashtra as "Bengalis". #WonderWomen https://t.co/TKQUkP1jsL

Anyone who thinks Anjali Menon's #WonderWomen is endorsing baby-making must've been playing on their phone or is nursing some agenda. I mean, I don't believe in bringing kids into this miserable world, and even I don't think that's what the film was doing.
