1. Mary Kom
Do we need to say more of this legend? Winning medal after medal, this fierce boxing
champion, and mother-of-three is an inspiration to us all. Winning 4 gold medals in 2018,
including a record world title and Commonwealth Games top honours.

2. P V Sindhu
Ace Indian badminton player who has won two major titles and the first woman to have won the silver medal at the Olympics. She also bagged two more silver medals at the Commonwealth Games.
3. Mithali Raj
The captain of the Indian Women’s Cricket Team, she is the first female cricketer to score 2000 runs in T20’s and has also scored two back to back half-centuries.
4. Manika Batra
The International table tennis player ended up claiming four medals including two golds at the Commonwealth Games and is one of the most successful athletes!
5. Hima Das
The first woman sprinter who won a gold medal at the World Under-20 Athletics Championship and has continued winning even more including one gold and two silver! What a fantastic job, and such a moment of pride for all of us!
6. Dipa Karmakar
This amazing girl is our nation’s extremely well-talented and super flexible gymnast. Returning back after an injury, she did not let it deter her win and definitely got the gold medal she deserved at the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Challenge Cup.

7. Sneha Sharma and Mira Erda
All you guys who think women are horrible drivers, well we are sure these two can give you a run for your money! They were among the 55 drivers across 25 countries to participate in the W Series which is the first ever single seater racing championship for women. Wishing them luck for all their future races!

8. Vinesh Phogat
In case if you have not heard of the Phogat sisters, go google them right away. Or remember the movie Dangal. Vinesh Phogat is Geeta and Babita’s cousin and another absolutely brilliant wrestler! She has now become the first Indian woman wrestler to win a gold medal at both - the Commonwealth Games and the Asian Games!

9. Deepika Kumari
The only Indian archer to be ranked No. 1 in the world. She also received two gold medals and two silver medals in the World Championship in 2011 and 2015 respectively. In fact, she has also won the Arjuna and Padma Shri by the Government of India for being such a stellar performer.
10. Saikhom Mirabai Chanu
An Indian weightlifter she is one of the youngest to win a silver medal at the 2014
Commonwealth Games and also won a gold medal at the 2017 World Championships. The
moment of utmost pride was when she won the gold medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games!
11. Swapna Barman
This hardworking girl deserves all the medals in the world! Facing all the adversities one cannot even imagine, this Heptathlete went ahead and won a gold medal at the 2018 Asian Games.

12. Manu Bhaker
The shooting prodigy of the country represented India in 4 major events. She secured a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games and the ISSF World Cup, making her the youngest Indian to win gold!
13. Sania Mirza
Sania is former world number 1 tennis player in doubles discipline and has won six Grand Slam titles. Mirza has also won a total of 14 medals (including 6 gold) at three major multi-sport events, namely the Asian Games, the Commonwealth Games and the Afro-Asian Games.

14. Saina Nehwal
Saina is a professional badminton player and has won over 24 international titles. Nehwal has represented India in the Olympics and made us proud by winning bronze.

15. Joshna Chinappa and Dipika Pallikal Karthik
A professional Squash Player, Joshna is the first Indian to win British Squash Championship title in under 19 category. Dipika Pallikal Karthik is the first Indian to enter into the top 10 in the PSA Women's rankings. Joshna and Dipika collectively won the Squash Women's Double Gold medal at 2014 Commonwealth Games, making it as India's first medal in this sport.
