He may not be great at giving advice but he can interest you in a sarcastic comment. Take a look at how Chandler's character evolved over the 10 seasons of F.R.I.E.N.D.S.
If sarcasm had a face, we know it would look like Chandler. An executive specialized in statistical analysis and data reconfiguration, and not a transponder as Rachel assumed, Chandler is one of the six friends who went on to become a popular character for all of the best reasons. And as years pass by, we spend hours watching the re-runs of the show, and the reasons that make him the most likable one only seem to grow. While he is considered the least masculine of the group and tries to hide his awkwardness with self-deprecating humor, Chandler's character curve left us all surprised by the end of the show.
Every character from the show had their own personality and that is what made F.R.I.E.N.D.S. such a big hit. We were able to connect with them so deeply that every single one of us cried when all of them left their keys on the kitchen counter. Chandler happens to be one of the characters who contributed to our love for the show. He is witty, awkward and real. He somethings has no idea what to talk about when asked for advice and doesn't know when to not speak. Even though his friends never laughed at his joke, all of them refer to him as the funny one.
Whoo-pah, take a look:
There is no doubt that he is one of the funniest and most real characters of all time.
Chandler started off as just another supportive character with just jokes and random one-liners to offer, but soon became an important character with a lot to offer to the show.
He is the most compassionate friend that anyone could ask for. His love for Joey is unconditional. From being Joey's roommate to making space for Joey's room in the new house is proof.
He was always there for everyone, supporting, listening and allowing them to emote around him.
Although others don't respect him so much, he is one of the smartest members of the group but doesn't feel the need to be vocal about it. He not only has a well-paying job but is also great at tennis, which he hides from his wife and decides to surprise her to keep her honor.
He was also ready to give up and lose so Ross could impress Mona.
No matter how much he panics while meeting new people, he is totally the opposite of that with Joey. Chandler can be a lot of fun to share an apartment with.
He quit his well-paying job and decided to take up something completely different. He followed his passion by getting into advertising.
Coming from a not-so-perfect family with divorced parents, Chandler always had his doubts about having a family and committing to a relationship. Despite all his fears, he ended up being an amazing father and husband.
So to conclude, do you also believe that...
