Here are some of the coolest senior citizens on Instagram who are living proof of age being just a number. Just like us, you’ll want to be friends with them!
When we were kids, visiting our grandparents' house and listening to their stories was always a highlight of our summer vacation. The moments made us feel like nothing else in the world mattered. For some reason growing up meant having fewer conversations with them. As adults, it has made us realize our lack of interest in finding joy in the little things or even reasons to make a connection with others. But, there have been a few 'senior citizens' who have managed to give us a new perspective on adulthood. They are using their presence on social media to show off their exciting life even at an age we would hardly consider to be happening.
21st August is celebrated as World Senior Citizens’ Day honoring and appreciating older adults and all they’ve done for us. It also makes you think about how cool it is when the older generation surprises us with how lively and talented they are. Seeing older people confidently sharing their talents and chasing their passions, especially on social media, really makes you admire them. It’s a reminder that it’s never too late to start something new, and it would be pretty awesome to have some of that confidence ourselves. Imagine how fun it would be to be friends with such cool, inspiring people from the older generation.
