The trailer of Brahmastra was finally released and the brilliantly portrayed VFX has everyone eagerly awaiting the release of the film!
After 10 long years in the making, the trailer of Brahmastra was finally released on the morning of June 15. We instantly saw it taking over social media and creating a rapidly increasing buzz amongst the fans. From Ranbir Kapoor's come back after 4 years to a plethora of praises for Mouni Roy's supervillain look, to Nagarjuna and Amitabh Bachchan's aura in the film, everything was a topic of discussion leading to a major hype for the movie that's releasing on the 9th of September. Brahmastra will be India's first film belonging to the fantasy drama genre so it's a given that the expectations from the audience are massive. As soon as the trailer was released we also saw so many fans making comparisons of the film to other fantasy drama giants such as the Marvel Cinematic Universe or Lord of the Rings.
But the Astraverse created by Ayan Mukherji looks like a world of it's own without being affected by the weight of constant comparisons. Being the first fantasy drama, the makers have done an outstanding job with the VFX. It truly feels like something we've never experienced in Indian Cinema before. The background music and the 'Kesariya' song by Arijit Singh bring out the essence of the chemistry between Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, who will be seen on-screen together for the first time since they got married. The fans also have many theories about Shahrukh Khan doing a cameo in the film and being the one who is responsible for giving Ranbir's character his superpowers. The trailer looks promising for what might probably become a huge blockbuster at the box office.
