After being trapped in Maximoff’s spell, Agatha is ready to ‘be that witch again’ in Marvel's newest offering, Agatha All Along.
There have been very few characters after the Avengers universe who were able to really grab our attention with their tactics in the MCU. Especially with the fate of Kang still at stake, Marvel fans need a good villain story in between all the multiverse drama. After much anticipation, Marvel finally dropped the trailer of Agatha All Along and it looks rather impressive.
We had the ‘oh my god’ moment the minute it was revealed that it was Agatha all along. Following her successful cameo in WandaVision, Kathryn Hahn will reprise her role as Agatha Harkness in her very own Disney+ miniseries. The last time we saw Agatha, she was left trapped under a distorted spell cast by Maximoff’s Scarlet Witch, but the latest trailer suggests that she is ready to ‘claw her way out’
Agatha appears as an officer investigating Wanda's dead body after her supposed death in Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness when she is visited by a mysterious character played by Aubrey Plaza. Meanwhile, we get to see her discovering her powers when a certain goth teen breaks her free from the spell. The teen (Joe Locke) begs Agatha to let him join her journey on the witch’s road, a magical road filled with trials that, if survived, grants a witch what they are missing. This sees Agatha joining forces with the teen to recruit witches to join her coven and with her, go down this long road.

After calling it “Agatha: House of Harkness,” “Coven of Chaos,” “Darkhold Diaries” and “The Lying Witch With Great Wardrobe”, Marvel finally confirmed the title "Agatha All Along". The title is also the title of the song written by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez which became an internet sensation after it appeared on WandaVision. The series will also see Patti LuPone, Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, Debra Jo Rupp and more in the cast. Jac Schaeffer, head writer of WandaVision, serves as executive producer while the series will be directed by Schaeffer, Rachel Goldberg and Gandja Montiero. Agatha All Along is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ with its first two episodes on September 18.
Which witch in her right mind would join Agatha Harkness’ coven? Guess we will have to wait until September 18 to find out.
