The Merry Christmas trailer looks like a Sriram Raghavan kinda spin on Christmas!

The Merry Christmas trailer starring Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi might be just the pan-Indian collaboration we need at the beginning of 2024! 

There is just something about Sriram Raghavan's films that just leaves your mind twisted in the right kind of way. Whether it was Badlapur, a story of revenge or Andhadhun, a story of looking beyond what the eye can see, his films take up the most cliches of life just to form a metaphor out of it. The very interesting and intriguing Merry Christmas trailer does the same!

Starring Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi, two lonely people end up spending one night of Christmas together and take this feel-good rom-com and make it a thriller mystery. After all, a moment can change your life and this is a whole night! With background music of cheerful Christmas tunes that take a whole new dark twist, Raghavan wants us to 'Dial M for Miracles' though in his style as instead of a Santa Claus there is a mysterious teddy bear and a mystery of a death to be solved. Two people go through a whole lot of crazy, choices and Christmas!

The film is coming in theatres on January 12, 2024, but this trailer that has Raghavan written all over it might already excite people. It stars two big stars from different film industries in an interesting setup that is not hero-worshipping or  an action adventure.
