TikTok is one of the most famous content creating platforms used by millennials. It wasn't long ago that the app gained attention and success for its entertaining user-generated content. TiktTok quickly caught the fancy of millions of people turning the most entertaining ones into social media influencers. One of these influencers included the popular account by the name of Mr. Faizu aka Faizal Shaikh. This isn't the first time that Faizal has caught the media's attention. It is usually for the funny, light-hearted content shared by him, however, this time it's for all the wrong reasons.
Faizal and his group 07 shared a video that received a lot of flack after Shiv Sena activist Ramesh Solanki filed an FIR against them. He accused them of allegedly creating and disseminating communal hatred evoking message via their latest video. The video in question involved the group relaying a message that suggested that 'the mob may have killed Tabrez, but if tomorrow, his offspring exercises revenge then he mustn't be a called a 'Muslim Terrorist'.
For those who aren't aware, Tabrez Ansari was physically assaulted by a mob in Jharkhand on 18th June and died on 22nd June due to the injuries sustained. The video was uploaded by Faisal Shaikh, Hasnain Khan, Adnan Shaikh, Faiz Baloch, and Sadhan Farouqi was in reaction to that. The message was criticized by many and Mumbai police concurred after reviewing the content of the video. As a result, TikTok has suspended their accounts.

Ramesh Solanki, complainant: I have been informed by TikTok that the video was removed from the platform and the 3 accounts were suspended after my complaint. Suspension in TikTok means that they can not log in into their accounts and can't post anything there. https://t.co/S8ClNcOtE8

Because of which, the group took to Instagram to issue an official apology for their actions.

This isn't the first time that TikTok has garnered negative attention. It wasn't long ago that the Government imposed a ban on the app download in India.
