Marvel's new addition to its cinematic universe is Taika Waititi's Thor Love and Thunder bringing Chris Hemsworth as Thor once again and here's what the Janat feels about it!
Taika Waititi's Thor Love and Thunder have recently been released in theatres and it's another one from the Marvel Cinematic Universe camp. It stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, Christian Bale as Gorr the God Butcher, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, and more. Thor as a character is one of the oldest and most popular superheroes from the Avengers universe who has a wider appeal to families and children. This movie also has Thor embarking on a journey unlike any other superhero - a quest for inner peace. However, not everything goes as planned as his retirement gets interrupted by Gorr the God Butcher, a galactic killer who seeks the extinction of the gods.
Co-written and directed by Taika Waititi, this film is the sequel to Thor: Ragnarok also directed by Taika. In this film, to stop Gorr the God Butcher from eliminating all gods, Thor who cannot finish this task alone has to recruit Valkyrie, Korg, and Jane Foster who is now the Mighty Thor. It's also a known fact that Waititi loves comedy but he wanted Love and Thunder to be different from its prequel Ragnarok, seeking to make a 1980s-inspired adventure-romance film and hence adapted elements from Jason Aaron's run on The Mighty Thor comic book, marking the return of Natalie Portman who had been missing from Ragnarok. The film had a worldwide release in theatres on July 8 as a part of Phase Four of the MCU.
Here's what the Janta thinks of it!
