The Pathaan trailer ends Shahrukh Khan’s ‘vanvaas’ from the big screens and shows him in an epic clash with John Abraham while delivering whistle worthy dialogues!

The Pathaan trailer starring Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone has fast paced high octane action happening at every turn and is ready to hit the screens on January 25!

Just a few weeks before the release of the film, the makers have finally released the much awaited Pathaan trailer that brings Shahrukh Khan back to the screens with a big bang! The trailer begins with a voiceover of Dimple Kapadia explaining how a private terrorist organization, helmed by John Abraham's character is planning its next mission with India as its target. Here’s when she decides that in order to fight these terrorists she’ll have to end Pathaan’s ‘vanvaas’ (exile) and bring him back in action to fight these bad guys. The next shot is of Shahrukh Khan giving us all goosebumps when he delivers not just punches but impactful punchlines too, in that typical dense voice of his, he says “Party pathaan ke ghar rakhoge toh mehmaannawazi ke liye Pathaan toh aayega, aur pathaake bhi layega”.

Deepika Padukone enters next in the trailer and tells Pathaan that as a soldier, she can help him complete this mission. The rest of the trailer then is just a series of grand action sequences like a rapid chasing scene on snowmobiles, helicopter blowing up or Shahrukh and John both being shown in Avenger’s Falcon like wings to fly. Throwing another dialogue that stuck with everyone, Pathaan says, “Ek Soldier ye nahi puchta ki desh ne uske liye kya kiya hai, vo puchta hai vo desh ke liye kya kar sakta hai” and the trailer ends with him saying “Jai Hind”.

This film definitely has created hype among the audience even after going through all the recent controversies and looks like a treat for Shahrukh Khan fans. The movie is directed by Siddharth Anand and is an extension of the YRF's spy universe which includes movies like 'Ek Tha Tiger' and 'War'. There are many who are expecting Salmaan Khan’s cameo in the film but YRF has kept it under wraps for now. Everything from the VFX to the cinematography is done on a large scale and reminds you of all the other YRF action movies that we've seen so far.
