Looop Lapeta starring Taapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin in pivotal roles is coming on Netflix on February 4. It's an adaptation of the German film, Run Lola Run.
Time is an absolutely crazy yet absurd concept that offers a great chance to filmmakers to play with it visually. Christopher Nolan's world entirely depends on this and even the German series, Dark. But the most basic statement that's always made in reference to time is 'If I could go back time I would have done things differently. And this is precisely what Aakash Bhatia's film Looop Lapeta talks about. What if you were given n number of chances by reversing time and each time you do things differently, would it result in a different outcome?
This film is based on Savi's (Taapsee Pannu) story, running against time and hitting up dead ends to save her boyfriend (Tahir Raj Bhasin) who has lost a ton of money to a mobster. Visually with its color bust and creative filmmaking, the trailer looks aesthetically rich and will turn your head for good. Will it uphold the standards that are already set by the German film it's adapted from? Guess we'll find out on February 4!
This thriller-comedy also stars Dibyendu Bhattacharya and Shreya Dhanwanthary. The film was earlier slated to be released in 2021 but was postponed. Helmed by Aakash Bhatia, it's produced by Sony Pictures Films India, Ellipsis Entertainment, and Aayush Maheshwari.
