Ved starring Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’souza released in the cinemas on December 30. Let’s have a look at the Janta’s review of this film!
Ved stands prominent for both Riteish and Genelia since not only is this his directorial debut but also her first Marathi film. The story revolves around Satya (Riteish Deshmukh), a talented cricketer just waiting for luck to grace him so his career finally picks up. And when it does, he makes the most of that opportunity. When it comes to his love life, he is head over heels in love with Nisha (Jiya Shankar) and the two eventually fall in love. But Satya’s cricketing dream is short-lived as he gets wrongly accused of fixing a match. He hits rock bottom after Nisha leaves him as well and he resorts to alcohol to numb his pain. But despite all of this Shravani (Genelia D’Souza) decides to marry him and there begins a story of a one-sided love.
Ved is inspired by the Telugu film Majili, featuring Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The Janta seems highly impressed with everything from the direction to the background music of the film, which is composed by none other than the talented duo, Ajay-Atul.
