Taaza Khabar starring Bhuvan Bam and Shriya Pilgaonkar released on Disney+Hotstar on January 6 and here are the Janta’s reviews on the series!
Taaza Khabar revolves around Vasya (Bhuvan Bam), a sanitation worker who lives in Byculla, South Mumbai. He is in charge of cleaning toilets and that’s how he makes his living so he can look after his mother (Atisha Naik) and his alcoholic father (Vijay Nikam). The plot thickens when a simple dua (blessing) from a kind deed grants Vasya surreal powers to crack news before it happens in the real world. Together with his inner circle which includes his girlfriend Madhu (Shriya Pilgaonkar), best friend Peter (Prathamesh Parab), bakery owner and father-like figure Mehboob Bhai (Deven Bhojani) and Mehboob’s daughter Shazia (Nitya Mathur), he uses his newfound super-power to master his destiny.
Taaza Khabar is directed by Hussain Gaur and the screenplay of the series is written by Hussain Dalal and Abbas Dalal. Bhuvan Bam, a creator who started his journey by making comical videos on his mobile phone is now proving to be an emerging star from this series. The Janta has only love to give for Shriya Pilgaonkar and his performance in the show. Although many felt that the story could’ve been much better, they ignore all of that for Bhuvan who outshines everything in the show.
