While you might've read reviews from critics about the show, how about we hear what the Janta has to say about The Family Man S2?
Raj and DK's The Family Man has always garnered huge success and praise from the time its first season came out. It's a show that has always tried to focus on the fact that people with dangerous jobs can have an equally demanding home life. With its witty charm, action-packed sequences, extremely talented cast, and a story worth being told, this series made its way into everyone's heart.
The second season seems to focus on everyone's internal and external struggles. While the first season spoke a lot more about Srikant's (Manoj Bajpayee) struggles, this time we get to see and understand everyone elses. As one of the show's character, Sajid says to Srikant, "Tu aur main ek hi jaise hai". In this wiser approach, this season becomes genre-defying stating that there are actually no heroes and villains but just people and perspectives. Inspite of trying a new approach, the series doesn't lose its witty charm and will make you laugh out loud.
Take a look at here what the 'Janta' have to say about this new season of the show.
The series takes off from where we left Milind and Zoya being stuck in the chemical factory while Srikant and JK deal with Moosa. In this season, we see that Srikant has abandoned the covert agency TASC for the soul-numbing comfort of a 9-to-5 job at an IT company. His 16-year-old marriage with Suchi which had its trouble since season 1 is strained to breaking point. And his teenage daughter Dhriti is acting out because of the friction between her parents that has become surly while his nine-year-old Atharv, a lively, cheerful presence seems to be Srikant’s only ally. Meanwhile, chaos and violence still loom large in the world outside the home. The ISI operative, Major Sameer has joined hands with Sri Lankan rebels, who are fighting for an independent state. Sleeper cells are being awakened. A cache of C4 explosives has been transported.
Find out whether Srikant finds his way back to TASC and helps out his team while managing his home in The Family Man S2 currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
