Set to release on 8th April, Abhishek Bachchan's The Big Bull trailer came out today and here's how netizens are reacting to it.
The announcement of the release of the film, The Big Bull was made during the lockdown with 7 other films releasing on Disney+ Hotstar. The film is more or less based on the infamous stock-broker Harshad Mehta, who was charged with numerous financial crimes during the securities scams of 1992. Though the names have been changed in the film yet the storyline is based on the life of a stockbroker, Hemant Shah. He was involved in financial crimes over a period of 10 years, from 1980 to 1990.
Abhishek Bachchan will be seen in the lead playing Hemant Mehta. The movie also stars Ileana D'Cruz, Nikita Dutta, Sumit Vats, Ram Kapoor, Sohum Shah and Lekha Prajapati. Though the series Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story released the previous year surmounted a huge success and is already being used to draw comparisons.

Even though the trailer looks good but the comparisons are bound to happen. So, all we can do is wait and watch the film to see how differently it tells the story. The film is directed by Kookie Gulati and produced by Ajay Devgn, Anand Pandit, Vikrant Sharma and Kumar Mangat Pathak.
