The Bhoot Police trailer shows Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor, our desi duo of fake ghostbusters doing well until they get busted by a real ghost.

Disney+ Hotstar recently dropped the trailer of Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor starrer Bhoot Police and it looks like a horror cum comedy ride. Saif and Arjun can be seen as the fake tantrics who bust away ghosts. Saif aka fake baba Vibhooti does not believe in ghosts and finds comfort in the company of women and booze and is completely okay with fooling people to earn money. Whereas Arjun aka Chiraunji believes in a supernatural power and swears by one particular book, ‘baba ki kitab’ to ward off supernatural forces.

The film also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Yami Gautam as Kanika and Maya respectively who call these fake tantrics to ward off a supernatural power feeding in their mansion. That's when the horror and twist in the tale starts, as Vibhooti and Chiraunji get together to step up and be the real ghostbusters. What ensues is a wholesome drama with your favorite faces.

Will this horror-comedy do justice to its interesting concept or not is the real question. Even though the trailer executes a spooky vibe, it does have its own set of problems with cliches and unnecessary dance numbers. Bhoot Police releases on Disney+ Hotstar on September 17.
