She-Hulk gets a new face as Tatiana Maslany lands the lead role in Disney Plus' Marvel series.
Canadian actor Tatiana Maslany will be appearing as Marvel's superhero She-Hulk in its Disney Plus series. The news was released by The Deadline and it has got fans excited since. The star who has a huge fan-following has been appreciated for her role in Orphan Black and was also awarded with the Primetime Emmy Award.

Tatiana will be playing the lead, Jennifer Walters who is a lawyer by profession and also happens to be Bruce Banner's cousin. This news came soon after recently announcing Kat Coira as the director of the series. Jessica Gao, the writer of Rick and Morty, will also be joining them as the lead writer for the series. Meanwhile, the Hulk, Mark Ruffalo himself congratulated and welcomed the new She-Hulk into the family. The actor is also said to make an appearance in the series as his popular Marvel character.

Fans have been upset as Marvel's phase four has been pushed for months since the pandemic and the question as to exactly when Disney will release its series remains unanswered. This news of a new addition to the Marvel family and a face to She-Hulk after waiting for five years has brought joy to the fans.
The production will commence in early 2021 and the series is speculated to air on Disney Plus in late-2021 or straight 2022.
