It was on 6th August that news of Sushma Swaraj's death spread like wildfire. The internet was abuzz with several reports of the sad demise of the political leader. She was a force to reckon with and achieved laudable milestones for both herself and our nation.
Her political accomplishments began at the age of 25 when she became the youngest cabinet minister of Haryana. Post which she continued to achieve many a remarkable feat. Elected seven times as an MP, thrice as an MLA, she was the second woman to hold the office, after Indira Gandhi. She served as the Minister of External Affairs of India from 2014 until Sushma Swaraj's death in 2019.
