Here are some viral moments that had us all talking!

Yusuf Dikec's laid-back style of shooting:

If you’ve scrolled social media enough in the last few weeks, you must have come across the video of Yusuf Dikec, where he caught our attention for his cool, calm, and collected approach to competitive shooting. While everyone else was geared up to the max, Yusuf strolled in wearing a plain T-shirt, one hand casually tucked in his pocket, skipping all the fancy lenses and protective gear. His laid-back style caught everyone’s attention and people couldn’t help but compare him to some iconic movie characters.

Zhou Yaqin learned the medal-biting tradition.

The 18-year-old Olympic debutant won silver in the women’s balance beam event at Bercy Arena. On the podium, she noticed Italy’s Alice D’Amato and Manila Esposito biting their medals for a photo. Zhou quickly followed their lead, raising her silver medal to her mouth with a smile.

Mondo Duplantis sets a new world record.

If you missed it, Mondo Duplantis rewrote the pole-vaulting record books at Stade de France. He soared to a jaw-dropping 6.25 meters, topping his own record. What got everyone talking, though, was how he dashed straight to his partner, Desire Inglander, right after landing to celebrate the moment.

The sportsmanship of Nadeem Arshad and Neeraj Chopra won hearts

Cricket isn’t the only sport that gets India and Pakistan glued to their screens any more. Yes, we are talking about javelin throw! On August 9, it stole the spotlight when Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem shattered the Olympic record with a jaw-dropping 92.97m throw, clinching gold. Not to be outdone, India’s Neeraj Chopra grabbed silver with an impressive 89.45m throw. The best part? Despite the fierce rivalry on the field, their off-field friendship won hearts, bridging the gap between the two nations.

Simone Biles and Suni Lee planning their post-win TikTok videos

Simone Biles and Suni Lee were at it again, grabbing Olympic gold and giving fans something to cheer about! On July 30, the U.S. women's gymnastics team shined with their gold-winning performances. In a fun twist, NBC’s broadcast caught Biles and Lee already plotting their TikTok videos with their shiny new medals. Biles called dibs on the chomping video, while Lee re-created the “Imagine if we didn’t win” clip.

Katerina Siniakova and Tomas Machac clinch Olympic gold

Tennis mixed doubles champs Katerina Siniakova and Tomas Machac, who were a couple in real life but recently split, still made magic on the court. They clinched gold against China’s Wang Xinyu and Zhang Zhizhen. When they won, they celebrated with a kiss.

Gianmarco Tamberi’s viral apology letter to wife

There was a reason why Paris was called the City of Love. On July 26, during the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics, high jumper and flag bearer Gianmarco Tamberi, 32, lost his wedding ring while sailing down the River Seine. Although it seemed like a setback, Tamberi turned this mishap into a beautiful and poetic message about love and people couldn't stop talking about it.

While these viral moments certainly dominated our feeds, they were just a small part of everything we loved about the Paris Olympics. Beyond the headlines, we witnessed an outpouring of support for Team India, with fans coming together to cheer their athletes and celebrate their achievements. The Paris Olympics was brimming with such heartfelt moments, making the event truly unforgettable.
