Among other things, Salaam Venky gave the Janta goosebumps with Kajol and Vishal Jethwa's portrayal of a mother and son!

Salaam Venky was released on the big screen on December 9 and the Janta seemed to be in love with this mother-son duo!

Salaam Venky is a slice-of-life drama film directed by Revathi, starring Kajol and Vishal Jethwa in the lead roles. The film is produced by Suraj Singh and Shraddha Agrawal through their banners, Blive Productions, and RTake Studios, respectively. The movie also stars Kamal Sadanah, Rajeev Khandelwal, Priyamani, and Aahana Kumra. The film was released last weekend on December 9 and the Sujata (Kajol) and Venky (Vishal Jethwa) have been the talk of the town ever since!

Salaam Venky is a pictorial depiction of the phrase "Life lambi nahi badi honi chahiye". The film is centered around a true story of a mother who does everything she can to help her son, who is diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, live life to the fullest. Sujata and Venky's chemistry is appreciated throughout the film and the bond they shared is just so pure for us not to watch this with our close ones!

Although the Janta is head over heels for the mother-son duo, they are also loving the way Kajol delivered her performance in this film. One Twitterati said "#SalaamVenky was like a medicine to my sad soul. I was wondering how I will be able to enjoy the movie as I was feeling so low. Now I feel much better after witnessing its magic."
