It all began with a viral song, and RED FM’s interpretation of it, attempting to draw the attention of civic authorities towards Mumbai’s monsoon troubles and the Shiv Sena has reacted by slapping a 500 CR INR defamation lawsuit on RJ Malishka and RED FM.
The video, led and sung by RJ Malishka, one of RED FM’s most popular RJs, was not received well by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, or the Shiv Sena leaders to be precise, whereas the general social media janta agreed with what was said in the video.
"After the video, ‘Mumbai tula BMC var bharosa nahi kay’ (Mumbai, don’t you trust BMC?) was released, the Shiv Sena had reacted bitterly with a leader of its youth wing urging the civic body to sue Malishka for defaming the civic body. On Tuesday, Sena corporator from Prabhadevi, Samadhan Sarvankar, also demanded the municipal commissioner file a Rs500-crore defamation suit against the FM channel for targeting the BMC." as per a report published by the Hindustan Times.
And things have now taken an even interesting turn, as sources reveal that the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has slammed a notice on RJ Malishka. Claiming to have found mosquitoes breeding in indoor plants at RJ Malishka’s Bandra apartment, here is an excerpt from the notice, published by NDTV, “"We have detected Aedes mosquito breeding in the clay bowl kept under the plant pot kept in front of the door. Indoor breeding is also detected in plant pots kept in the window," says the notice sent to the RJ's mother Lily Mendonsa, warning of legal action.”
Amazing! Comedy scene could learn a thing or two from this. https://t.co/ur79haUVyx

Although the mosquito breeding charge has not rattled Malishka at all, as she proved by her tweet which shows no signs of her giving a damn.
She is currently in New York, where she attended the IIFA Awards with prominent Bollywood personalities.
