Recently, Realme launched its first-ever fitness band and made the ‘right noise’ in the tech circles. The wearable device is priced at Rs 1,499, and it faces fierce competition from the Xiaomi Mi Band 4. Let’s find out which one takes the lead, in terms of specifications and features.
Screen and battery
The Realme Band comes with a 0.96-inch TFT screen with 80×160 pixels resolution and 3D tempered glass, whereas the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 boasts a 0.95-inch AMOLED display with 120×240 pixels resolution and 2.5D tempered glass. Both the fitness trackers have a coloured display, but Mi Band 4’s screen is a notch higher. The Xiaomi Mi Band 4 has a full-screen touch display, whereas the Realme Band only comes with a touch button to navigate.

Coming to the battery capacity, the Realme Band has a 90mAh battery, while the Mi Band comes with a 135mAh battery. Also, the Realme Band is simpler to charge, as you only need to take out one side and plug into the USB A socket. In the case of Mi Band 4, it needs to be taken out of the strap and charged only via the proprietary charger that comes with the box.
What else?
Both the bands look identical - they show SMS, calls, app notifications, as well as have sleep tracking, sedentary reminder, exercise tracker, step counter, phone locator, weather forecast, and heart rate monitoring.

While the Mi Band 4 comes with music control and NFC, the Realme band has no such features. The Mi Band 4 is water-resistant up to 50 metres, while the Realme Band has an IP68 (1.5m) water resistance rating.
The price point
The Realme Band is priced at Rs 1,499 whereas the Mi Band 4 is priced at Rs 2,299. The former comes with three coloured strap options– Black, Yellow, and Green, while the Mi Band 4, is available in four coloured straps– Black, Orange, Purple, and Burgundy.
