The new episode of the much talked about Koffee with Karan season 8 came out yesterday and it brought together yet another quirky pairing we truly enjoyed watching. Aditya Roy Kapur who had a massive digital success this year with The Night Manager and Arjun Kapoor who is known as the show’s unofficial mascot, came together to brew some stirring conversations with the host and their very close friend Karan Johar. The trio spoke about their relationships (of course, duh!), the ups and downs in their career, the double edged sword that is stardom and played some hilarious games that made us laugh out loud!

Aditya’s elegant way of admitting but not admitting his relationship with Ananya

Of course as soon as he sat on the couch, the first question thrown at Aditya Roy Kapur was about his relationship with Ananya Panday. He elegantly says ‘ask me no secrets and I’ll tell you no lies’ but also said that she has been a pure bliss and joy in his life. It was at least much better than couples who either completely deny or act like they’re just good friends!

Trolls and everything said on the internet

The trio discussed the amount of hate they get online. All three of their opinions on the subject were quite varied. Karan Johar shared how he is always made fun of when it comes to his sexuality and sometimes even his kids and mother are commented on. That’s when it really hits a nerve for him and he gets angry, rightfully so. Arjun Kapoor shares how he has been shamed for having an age gap in his relationship with Malaika Arora. But he also said that these are the same trolls who would take pictures with him at events and that’s the sad fact. Meanwhile Aditya Roy Kapur is blissfully unaware of what his trolls have to say as he simply does not have the time to waste on such things.

Aditya Roy Kapur's blissfully unaware quality goes till quite an extent. Karan Johar and Arjun Kapoor start testing his Bollywood knowledge out of nowhere and it was a laughter therapy we didn’t know we needed! He did not know the names of characters from Bollywood classics like Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, DDLJ, and Sholay and him trying to figure it all out was rather cute!
