Koffee with Karan season 8 episode 7 was a blend of wholesome proposal stories and lots of entertainment!

Koffee with Karan season 8 has dished on marriage, dreamy weddings and proposals more than anything this year and with the Kiara- Vicky episode we get two more romantic stories to call us single in every language possible!

Kiara Advani and Vicky Kaushal who were first seen together in Lust Stories back in 2018, reunited on the Koffee couch this year and talked about how so much has changed in their lives since then. The two looked hot in a black dress and suit respectively and were there to brew some much anticipated conversation with the host. Of course proposal stories have been the highlight of this season and both Kiara and Vicky did not disappoint with theirs either. In the previous season, Vicky Kaushal was on the couch with Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara mentioned that right before shooting that episode, Sidharth had proposed to her in Rome so he played it rather cool back then. 

The proposal story is a movie of its own, Kiara said it was her first trip with Sidharth’s family. He had planned all the works. It was a rooftop dinner where violins started playing as soon as she entered, and he went down on one knee and popped the question. And when it comes to proposing, Vicky wasn’t far behind either. While it was understood between him and Katrina that they want to marry each other, he knew giving her that one proposal moment was important. A day before their wedding celebrations began, when it was just the two of them in the palace, he set up a dinner as well and proposed to her. While we’ve heard so many proposal stories on Koffee with Karan this year, just like Karan Johar, we too have swooned at each and every one of them when they were being narrated.

Apart from the proposal stories, the duo also played the Koffee shot game where many more things about their relationships were revealed. The buzzer round has also been a fun element that’s added this year and it’s hilarious to watch every time! The way Kiara-Vicky were trying to be politically correct with the kind of questions asked is what made it entertaining.

Another highlight from the episode was when Vicky Kaushal shared his experience of working with Shah Rukh Khan in Dunki. He said that even though SRK is such a huge star, he treats every film like it’s his first. He wants to give creative space to his co-actors and collaborate to the best of his abilities. He makes sure everyone is okay with the take and everyone is on the same page about things. While filming Dunki, Vicky had a really intense scene to shoot which also included SRK but because of other commitments he couldn’t be there on set that day. SRK not only apologized to him for not being there but also offered to re-shoot the scene if Vicky wasn’t happy with it. Vicky also mentioned that when he is talking to you, he gives his entire 100% into listening to what you’re saying and makes sure you feel heard. He is called ‘Badshaah’ of Bollywood for a reason. 

In the end, after a competitive Rapid fire, Kiara won for the second time in a row! And with that another fun episode of Koffee with Karan made it to our screens this week!
