Climate change is real and it's affecting nature at an accelerated rate. Immediate and significant changes have to be brought into effect to undo the damage. Team Coolie No. 1 recently did their bit for the same and were applauded by PM Narendra Modi himself.
Owing to the current environmental situation, the makers of Coolie No. 1 along with PEIL had taken up the initiative by providing the entire cast and crew plastic-free sippers on the 1st of September. Varun Dhawan took to Twitter to share the news with his followers too!
Being a plastic-free nation is the need of the hour and great intiative taken by our prime minister and we can all do this by making small changes. The sets of #CoolieNo1 will now only use steel bottles. @PMOIndia pic.twitter.com/T5PWc4peRX

It was earlier today that PM Narendra Modi responded to VD's Tweet and applauded Team for the positive initiative taken by them.
Superb gesture by the team of #CoolieNo1! Happy to see the film world contributing towards freeing India from single use plastic. https://t.co/bPXFgHz2I4
