Fans and fellow cricketers trend #63notout as they remember Australian cricketer Phillip Hughes on his 5th death anniversary. Check out how Twitterati shared their love for the cricketer.
It is 5 years since Australian cricketer, Phillip Hughes, lost his life on the field that he was fond of and choose to be on. Phillip was hit by a bouncer at the age of 25 in a match while batting for South Australia in a Sheffield Shield match on November 25, 2014, against New South Wales at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Even though he was wearing a helmet, the ball struck the part that was not protected. His death made the cricket community focus on the need for neck guard in cricket. Various cricketers and fans remember their favourite cricketer on his fifth death anniversary.
Here is how Twitter remembered Phillip Hughes:

I’m constantly telling the boys to put a helmet on in the nets. My Facebook memory popped up with a comment about me staying off the internet all day, on this sad day 5 years ago, so that I wouldn’t see this tragic news, while praying for a recovery.#63NotOutForever pic.twitter.com/VQeiXpzszG
