Pet Puraan starring Sai Tamhankar and Lalit Prabhakar was released on SonyLIV on May 6. Let's see what the janta has to say about it!
Pet Puraan is a thought-provoking story about pet parenting shown in a fun and light-hearted manner. The story speaks about how many couples these days are opting not to have a child and becoming pet parents instead. Atul and Aditi played by Lalit Prabhakar and Sai Tamhankar respectively, have been married for four years and have their priorities set since the beginning about becoming parents. It's a big NO! Even though there is immense parental pressure of having a child around them to which Aditi sometimes even succumbs but Atul immediately pulls her out of it and reminds her how bringing a child into this world can be a huge responsibility and a very expensive affair. The series is created and directed by Dnyanesh Zoting.
The first-ever encounter that Atul and Aditi have with a pet is when they have to babysit their friend's cat and once they fall in love with the idea of becoming a pawrent, they adopt Baku, a kitten, and Vyanku, a rescued Golden Retriever. But raising pets also comes with great responsibilities of its own and the series shows us how pets require you to be just as attentive and responsible as raising a child. We see Atul and Aditi constantly learn and grow in the process of taking care of Baku and Vyanku. Rarely do we see a show on pet parenting but Pet Puraan perfectly brings out the essence of the unconditional love that a pet can give you, no matter what!
