Anushka Sharma has been a part of the industry for the past 14 years and made her way from the big screen into our hearts with her undeniably gorgeous looks and precious smile!
Dear Anushka Sharma,
You entered the world of movies as Taani in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and took the industry by storm with your incredible screen presence and of course your moves in 'Dance Pe Chance'. I still remember how I stood in front of my TV, trying to learn all the steps by heart and look as graceful as you. Since then, you were known as "The Yashraj girl" with back-to-back entertaining movies with them like Band Baaja Baarat, Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl, and Jab Tak Hai Jaan. You warmed up to the audience pretty quickly by playing the girl next door that so many girls could relate to.
But a great actor always has a knack for breaking stereotypes and knows when to experiment with themselves. Over the years, you gave us a wide range of characters of various genres. You played Jaggu in PK, a dedicated news reporter who meets an alien and forms a unique relationship with him. Or the fearless Meera in NH10, I watched that whole movie rooting for you to get out of danger while being on the edge of my seat. You took on the role of Aarfa Hussain in Sultan and your transformation for playing the role of a wrestler made you look so powerful on-screen, your simple and subtle portrayal of Mamta in Sui Dhaaga too.
I'll be honest, I never thought I'd see you play a ghost but you surprised me and how, when you played Shashi in Phillauri and Rukhsana in Pari, two characters that are completely different from each other and yet so convincing. Alizeh from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is a best friend and cheerleader everyone needs, who will give them a dose of reality when needed but also dance with them freely to a breakup song!
Apart from your movies, we've also seen your relationship, with the most loved batsman in our country, blossom into something so beautiful. Your wedding looked straight out of a fairytale and the both of you reminded us that pure and genuine love exists and as long as you're with the right one by your side, everything feels okay. You set the trend with 'Din Shagna Da' as it became every bride's go-to song to walk down the aisle. Your wedding pictures, your outfits, showed everyone what dreams are made of!
Today when I see Anushka Sharma, I see an actor, a producer, a supportive partner, and a mother and I completely look upto each part of her. I am super excited to see you as Jhulan Goswami in Chakda 'Xpress and only wish the best for you in all your upcoming movies. Cannot wait to see your comeback on the big screens!
With lots of love,
Your biggest fan
