Half a year has gone by and we had a plethora of content to watch. And we encountered certain on-screen dialogues that literally made no sense and here’s a roundup of those bizarre one liners!
Dialogues have the power to make or break a story and the way you write a dialogue leads to how the audience will react to your film. You can make a character go from zero to hero with a powerful dialogue or make it meme material for generations to come. There’s no doubt that movies cannot exactly mirror the way we talk in real life but neither can it look too superficial and there have been very few movies lately that have found that middle ground for their dialogues. Some dialogues just don’t make any sense, while some in the process of being funny say something way too offensive to digest.
On-screen dialogues can be looked at as something the character preaches to the audience and if the preaching is not up to the mark then the writers have to brace themselves for a lot of criticism and trolling. Adipurush for instance, a movie that spent so much money on its CGI, was still made fun of because of its weak dialogues. It is proof enough that no matter how much money you spend on a film, if the dialogues don’t feel right, your audience is not going to like it.
