In exciting news, it was announced that Tabu would be cast as a Benne Gesserit in the prequel series of Dune which got people very excited!
Denis Villeneuve's two-part film series 'Dune' is a people's favorite magnum opus. So it's a no-brainer that everyone jumped with glee when they found out that Tabu was being cast in the prequel titled 'Dune Prophecy' that's inspired by the novel “Sisterhood of Dune”. Written by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson, it unveils the story of about 10,000 years before the ascension of Paul Atreides, shown in Denis Villeneuve's Dune.
The series was commissioned by HBO Max in 2019 and follows the story of the two Harkonnen sisters as they combat forces that threaten the future of humankind. From the synopsis provided, it seems to be the origin story of the fabled sect that today we all know as the Bene Gesserit. Tabu will be part of the series in the recurring role of Sister Francesca.

Tabu is one of those few Indian actresses that has made a name for herself and a place in people's hearts with her sheer talent.
