With the cat coming out of the box, Spiderman and Dr Strange team up while dealing with Peter Parker's real identity, the multi-verse, and the comeback of iconic villains.
Maybe Tom Holland had no hands in it but ironically a week ago fans were flooded with a leaked video of the new Spiderman trailer. The video, not exactly HD, was of someone recording the trailer on a phone. While the preview already made it to a lot of us, Marvel and Sony released the much-awaited Spiderman: No Way Home trailer. Fans have been asking for the trailer for a long time now and after a long list of speculations, multi-verse theories, fan-made trailers, and leaked footage, the trailer is finally out and has left the fans thrilled.
The new Spiderman: No Way Home trailer sees Peter Parker face the ultimate challenge after Mysterio revealed his true identity to the world. With everyone knowing who the real Spiderman is, Peter finds the line between his superhero and normal life fade away. As life becomes difficult, Peter turns to his fellow superhero from Infinity War and Endgame Dr Strange, or should we say, Stephen for help. But in the process of Strange casting a spell that would make everyone forget who Spiderman is, Peter messes it up causing the multiverse madness. We finally get to see Doc Ock make an appearance in the trailer. The trailer also teases the appearance of Green Goblin as we see one of his weapons, the pumpkin bomb, and also hear his laughter. Fans also suspect the yellow lighting as glimpses of Jamie Foxx’s Electron.
Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon, and Marisa Tomei will be reprising their roles from the previous Spiderman films. Along with this cast, we will have Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange and Alfred Molina as Doc Oak. The film is directed by Jon Watts and written by Chris McKenna & Erik Sommers. Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal are the producers and Louis D'Esposito, Victoria Alonso, JoAnn Perritano, Rachel O’Connor, Avi Arad, and Matt Tolmach are the executive producers. Spiderman will swing in the theatres on December 17.
