During Netflix's Tudum global fan event that went for three hours, it announced multiple series, films and specials.
This weekend, Netflix hosted an online event called TUDUM, named after the famous sound that comes before and after all films and shows on the platform. It hosted a global event that went on for three hours and announced a number of new projects for 2021 and 2022. From Tiger King's sequel to Kanye West's documentary Jeen-Yuhs to Adam McKay's dark comedy Don’t Look Up to Gal Godat, The Rock, and Ryan Reynolds action-packed film Red Notice, it had it all. New seasons and renewals of Money Heist, The Witcher, Sex Education, Emily in Paris, Stranger Things, and Bridgerton were also announced. The line-up of these series, films, and specials was quite star-studded and exciting!
When the global event was done, there was a half an hour event for India specials hosted by Ali Fazal and Radhika Apte. The ‘India Spotlight’ event showcased clips from TV shows new and old and announced its various Indian projects. This 30-minute event unveiled shows like Dhamaka, Meenakshi Sundareshwar, Plan A Plan B, Finding Anamika, Khufiya, Heeramandi, Aranyak, Minnal Murali, Little Things Season 4, and Mismatched X Kota Factory. The new line-up of shows will feature actors like Kartik Aaryan, Sanya Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh, Tamannaah, Madhuri Dixit, Tabu, Ali Fazal, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Raveena Tandon, Parambrata, Mithila Palkar, Prajakta Koli, Rohit Saraf, and many more.
