Talking about working with Kunal Kapoor, Zoya Hussain, and Saket Choudhary, he said, “Working with them was really cool. I have known Kunal for a fairly long time. It was a pleasure getting to know that I would be in this film with him. Zoya is amazing and so is Palomi. I think they are very competent actors, you always have to be on your toes with them because they are so good, which is evident. It was a fun ride. I particularly enjoyed working with Saket. Of course one knows of him as a very competent director from the films that he's done. But this is only the first time that I had a chance to work with him. I had a very good time.”

This role was totally different: Rinku Rajguru on playing Manjari in Ankahi Kahaniya

Best known for her performance in the film Sairat, Rinku Rajguru will be seen essaying the role of Manjari in Ankahi Kahaniya. Caught amidst the family turmoil and responsibilities Manjari is a strong character looking to escape the rut she lives in. With this segment, Ankahi Kahaniya delves into yet another intriguing story set in the early 1980s on the streets of Bombay. The three unique stories are set to premiere on Netflix on September 17, 2021.

Rinku talked about her character Manjari, she said “From all the characters that I have done till now this one is totally different. Manjari is very calm and wants to do so much in life but she is oppressed and everything is bottled up because of her house’s situation and the way she lives. We were showing a time from the 1980s so it was a little difficult to act that kind of elegance but it was really fun.”

Ankahi Kahaniya will premiere exclusively on Netflix across over 190 countries on September 17th, 2021
