Neena Gupta was recommended by an impressed Amitabh Bachchan to be cast opposite him in 'Goodbye'

Neena Gupta will be playing Amitabh Bachchan's wife in Goodbye was known but apparently, it was a suggestion by Mr. Bachchan himself after seeing Badhaai Ho.

Goodbye, the new film starring Amitabh Bachchan is being helmed by Vikas Bahl. And the cast of the film recently just got more interesting by adding a new member. Until now, the cast included Mr. Bachchan himself and Rashmika Mandannna playing his daughter. Now, the incredible Neena Gupta has been roped in to join the cast as Mr. Bachchan’s wife and apparently, it was on a suggestion made by BigB.

It seems like that Mr. Bachchan saw Neena’s amazing performance in Badhai Ho and had decided that it would be great to work with her as his co-star. Both of the actors are highly talented and experimental in their craft. And both of them don't think age is a bar.
