Live Silent Garba night is back in Mumbai!
Ayee halloo! It's Navratri season which means it's the season of colours and a lot of dancing. People in Mumbai are equally prepared to dance their hearts out on all these 9 days. People enjoy every bit of the festivities and Mumbai is hosting Live Silent Garba 2.0 night this Navratri.
Garba nights are a thing and people look forward to it all year long. People dance in full zest while the Dj plays Garba songs all night. While Mumbai enjoys and loves being a part of it, the noise pollution is a downside to Navratri. Which is why there are rules that require people to end playing loud music before 10 pm in the night. The rule ensures the celebrations do not cause any trouble for the people in the neighbourhood. However, do we stop playing at Navratri until our feet hurt? Absolutely not! here is the solution.
Relax Garba lovers, Live Silent Garba 2.0 has come to the city's rescue. Aye Dil Hai Mushkil introduced the silent club concept to a majority of Indians. Using the same concept, the Live Silent Garba allows people to enjoy Garba night up until 3 am without breaking the laws and causing any disturbance to the citizens around. Here, people have to put on their headphones after 10:30 pm and can dance until they go home with sore feet. The director of Rajmahal Banquets, Aboli Anand said that, "The idea was to cut down on noise pollution after 10:30 PM, so that the citizens can peacefully go to bed while the zestful ones can go on grooving to the Garba music late in the night or until their feet are sore". He brought to life the concept of Live Silent Garba in the city 2 years ago.
