Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway starring Rani Mukerji and Anirban Bhattacharya released on the big screens on March 17 and here’s what the Janta thought of the film!
Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway is based on the unbelievably true story of Sagarika Chakraborty whose children were taken from her by the Norwegian child care services. Director Ashima Chibber brings this story to life with Rani Mukerji playing the main character as Debika Chatterjee. Debika relentlessly fights to bring her children back home after child care services feel she's not fit to be with her children with whatever little they have seen from the outside. Anirban Bhattacharya plays her husband in the film who came to Norway with hopes to start a new life and most importantly get permanent residency. Jim Sarbh plays Daniel, a fierce lawyer who truly makes you wonder if adoptive parents can give the same amount of love to children whose biological parents are still alive.
The movie brings out a lot of emotions in the Janta especially Rani Mukerji who hits it out of the park with her impactful portrayal of a grieving mother. Being a never seen before story, the Janta empathised with Debika’s struggle and is all praises for the film.
