The new teaser of Money Heist 5 proves that it isn't just about the heist anymore. It is time for payback, it is time to wage a war now.
The end of the biggest heists is here, as Netflix announced the release dates of Money Heist Season 5 on Monday with a heart-touching teaser. Apparently, the last season is going to come in two volumes, 1st in September and the other one in December.
In the teaser, the gang is back with more firepower and anger. Nairobi’s sacrifice has ripped them to the core and they aren’t going to forget it anytime soon. This heist isn't just about robbery now. It's about waging a war. And the teaser proves it with numerous moments that are scattered throughout the video.
What is the best part about this teaser? It captures the emotions of every gang member in-depth in slow motion. As if each one is fighting, wanting to avenge a deeply personal loss. This trailer is set on the tunes of a female version of Linkin Park’s In The End instead of Bella Ciao, which says so much about the plot of this season.
The upcoming season will bring back actors like Álvaro Morte, Úrsula Corberó, Pedro Alonso, Itziar Ituño, Najwa Nimri, Jaime Lorente, Miguel Herrán, Esther Acebo, among others.
There’s also a lot of action going on in the teaser that depicts how this is the final battle for the gang. The army is already inside the bank and is doing everything in its power to ensure the gang’s surrender. But the gang as Tokyo's voiceover says, "the most important moments are those when we understand there is no return", is fighting as if it is a 'do or die' situation and won’t give in at all. While the members make their way through the Bank of Spain, The Professor seems to be holding the fort from the outside. But a shot of 'hands tied to a chair' hints that Alicia Sierra has probably managed to overpower Sergio and has taken him as a hostage.
