Here's how our favorite Indian creators celebrated making it to the billboard for Meta Creators' Day!
There is nothing more rewarding than seeing all your hard work and years of struggle being recognized. While we have seen many people join the long list of creators and become popular on social media, there have been many who have been around for a very long time but received recognition for the content only over a period of time. And these creators are finally getting their due with Meta Creators' Day.
An initiative by Meta, the day is dedicated to celebrating different content creators and the diverse content they have to share with the world. Many of our favorite Indian creators will be headlining this initiative and helping showcase different talents that exist in the online space for audiences to enjoy on a daily basis. Recently some of these creators ended up appearing on billboards across Mumbai following the Meta Creators' Day event that's set to take place on September 30. And not missing out on this opportunity were creators like Karan Sonawane, Funcho, Sakshi Shivdasani, Nagma Mirajkar, Saurabh Ghadge, and Manav Chhabra who were present in person to watch their billboards go up.
Sharing a video of the same, Karan Sonawane wrote, "This video is proof that if you have talent and you continue doing hard work, it will pay off GUARANTEED! Everyone has their own KAHANI and you have to write your KAHAANI by yourself. In this journey, you meet people who help you level up. In my Kahaani, those people are my #ourangejuicegang and my #focusedmandal." While Saurabh Ghagde who made it to the billboard for the 2nd time this year thanked his followers for all the support they have been giving him. Team Funcho quoted lyrics from Divine's song Punya Paap and wrote, "edit karke mera image tune meme bana diya, MEHNAT KARKE TERE BHAI NE PURA DREAM BANA DIYA."
