The entire country was waiting in anticipation for the Union Budget of 2024 yesterday. Like every year, it seemed like if there is anything that people look forward to along with the budget itself, it’s the memes that come out of it and this year was no different. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the budget for the 7th time, and people were quick to highlight their diverse opinions on certain policies and aids that were introduced. People couldn’t help but find laughable memes about the huge financial aid for states like Bihar and Andhra, as well as the tax policies, all the while drawing attention to middle-class citizens. The internet did not shy away from calling out the minister, and jokes were made about calling their CA friends to decode the same for them.
