He urged the government to do the right things and to take a U-turn in helping the vulnerable families and give them one less thing to worry about. Claiming that it is just one step towards helping eradicate one major issue, child poverty, Rashford suggested how giving a child free-meal would be helpful as he was once in the same situation. He explained that it was an important step as many families have lost their jobs during the pandemic and it is especially important during such difficult times that the government sees to it that no child goes hungry.
His efforts through the campaign have ensured about 1.3 million children to get free meal vouchers during the holidays.
I don’t even know what to say.

Just look at what we can do when we come together, THIS is England in 2020.
I wanted to understand the scale of the problem and how we can reach vulnerable children. It’s not just schools. It’s community centres, breakfast clubs, etc that provide the only meal many kids get each day. No child should have to worry where their next meal is coming from. (2)
