After claiming that the three-party government will form the Maharashtra government and rule the state, Sharad Pawar to meet with Congress President Sonia Gandhi today in Delhi.
Talks on Maharashtra government's formation have been in the news ever since the election results were declared. If reports are to be believed Congress, NCP and Shiv Sena will come together to form the government. Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Chief Sharad Pawar will be meeting up on Monday (18th November) which will be very crucial in deciding the fate of Maharashtra government. The appointment of three senior leaders with Pawar is also considered as an indication of the party's willingness to form a joint government.
According to sources, Sonia Gandhi is uncertain regarding some of Shiv-Sena's party policies and actions. Recent being, Uddhav Thackeray's announcement of visiting Ayodhya especially during the fragile time of the case's verdict.
Reportedly, Pawar's meeting with his party leaders concluded about the power being shared. However, the decision will be finalised only after a meeting with Congress before it is conveyed to Shiv Sena. BJP and Shiv Sena who shared a three-decade-long tie have been seeing a widening disagreement between them after BJP leader Amit Shah disagreed to any 50:50 agreement made with Shiv Sena. This has encouraged the possibility of the formation of a new government in Maharashtra. People shared their thoughts on Twitter after the news broke.
Here is how people reacted on Twitter regarding the latest development related to the formation of Maharashtra government:

It’ll be Ram Rajya.#MaharashtraPoliticalCrisis
President rule is not permanent. They need not approach SC at all.

Just get letter of support from 144 MLAs, go to Raj Bhawan and stake claim. Very next minute President rule shall be revoked. Its as simple as that#MaharashtraGovtFormation
Many people are blaming BJP to be arrogant by not giving CM post to SS.?
— Upasana Singh (@upasanatigress) November 12, 2019
But reality is they have cheated by Mayawati and Kumaraswamy twice.
And SS wanted initial 2.5 years term, which meant they also had such nefarious plans to dump BJP.?

With almost 50% of its MPs & MLAs imported from other parties, what is BJP’s ideology?
— Dr Luttapi (@Mayavi101) November 12, 2019
The only ideology which exists in the current era of politics is to grab power by violating democratic ethics & constitutional norms, applicable to all parties. #MaharashtraGovtFormation
If there is re-election with no alliance of BJP with ShivSena and if BJP contest from all the seats, there are high chances of @BJP4Maharashtra crossing halfway mark & form govt

RT if you want re-election, rather than an compromised govt @Dev_Fadnavis#MaharashtraGovtFormation
