After claiming that the three-party government will form the Maharashtra government and rule the state, Sharad Pawar to meet with Congress President Sonia Gandhi today in Delhi.

Talks on Maharashtra government's formation have been in the news ever since the election results were declared. If reports are to be believed Congress, NCP and Shiv Sena will come together to form the government. Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Chief Sharad Pawar will be meeting up on Monday (18th November) which will be very crucial in deciding the fate of Maharashtra government. The appointment of three senior leaders with Pawar is also considered as an indication of the party's willingness to form a joint government.

According to sources, Sonia Gandhi is uncertain regarding some of Shiv-Sena's party policies and actions. Recent being, Uddhav Thackeray's announcement of visiting Ayodhya especially during the fragile time of the case's verdict.

Reportedly, Pawar's meeting with his party leaders concluded about the power being shared. However, the decision will be finalised only after a meeting with Congress before it is conveyed to Shiv Sena. BJP and Shiv Sena who shared a three-decade-long tie have been seeing a widening disagreement between them after BJP leader Amit Shah disagreed to any 50:50 agreement made with Shiv Sena.
