Made in Heaven Season 2 trailer: Karan and Tara plan grander weddings amidst their own love life struggles, financial conflicts, and alarming societal issues!

After a four-year wait, our favorite wedding planners are back in business. From introducing new and familiar faces to the production being bigger and better, The Made in Heaven season 2 trailer has sparked excitement for the new chapter!

A show created by some of the finest filmmakers in the industry like Zoya Akhtar, Nitya Mehra, Reema Kagti, Alankrita Srivastava and Neeraj Ghaywan is bound to create hype amongst the audience who were eagerly awaiting the show’s return since pre COVID era. A stellar cast on top of that just adds to the excitement even more. The Made in Heaven season 2 trailer gives us the very first glimpse into the upcoming season and its grander the weddings and double the drama. Tara (Shobhita Dhulipala) is navigating her way through divorce with her husband Adil (Jim Sarbh) and the fact that he's marrying Faiza (Kalki Koechlin), the one he had an affair with. She is also making sure she gets what she deserves. Karan (Arjun Mathur) is still struggling with his mom having to accept the fact that he is queer even while she is on her deathbed. Kabir (Shashank Arora) and Jaspreet (Shivani Raghuvanshi) are stuck between keeping it casual and being in a serious and committed relationship. While the wedding planning team is getting their personal lives together, they’re also taking their business up a notch with Jauhari (Vijay Raaz).

It’s time to enter the big leagues and deliver the most extravagant and aesthetically pleasing weddings and by the looks of it, it feels like they're doing just that. And there are many new faces who have joined the wedding planning team in various different roles. While details about her character are not fully revealed, Trinetra Haldar will be playing one of the wedding planners and Mona Singh is the team’s new auditor. The list of clients also include popular actors like Sanjay Kapoor, Neelam Kothari, Radhika Apte, Mrunal Thakur, Pulkit Samrat, Parul Gulati and Shibani Dandekar. We also see small glimpses from Dia Mirza and ace fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. 

From the 3 minute trailer, the series talks about many societal issues such as domestic violence, our obsession with fair skin and brushing the fact that one’s queer under the carpet and we cannot wait to see how the plot unfolds on these topics just like it did in its Emmy nominated season one. Produced by Excel Entertainment, Made in Heaven season 2 will be available to stream on Prime Video from August 10.
