PL Champions celebrate at Anfield after winning against Chelsea.Β Jordan Henderson becomes the first Liverpool Captain to raise the Premier League trophy.
Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson was handed the magnificent trophy by Liverpool legend Sir Kenny Dalglish who was the manager the last time Liverpool became the champions in 1989-1990.
The Reds celebrated their first PL victory in 30 years behind closed doors.Β They ensured to finish the season unbeaten at Anfield and make it 59 home league games without a defeat.Β The Red lads marked their last game on the home ground with an incredible 5-3 victory overΒ Chelsea and lifted theΒ Premier LeagueΒ on stage in the Kop.
Fighting the frustrations and facing immense highs and lows, it is an incredible moment for Liverpool players, manager, fans and everybody who has supported the club irrespective of their toils. They remained undaunted by all adversities and this calls for a huge celebration!

"Walking up there was amazing.Β The lads deserved their moment. Thankfully, the families were up there watching, that was a big thing for us. It's been an amazing season, to crown it off like that was special",Β Henderson told Sky Sports.Β
With fans missing this glorious moment due to the global pandemic and its limitations, Liverpool lifted the trophy at the field from their iconic stand while the fansΒ gathered and celebrated outside of Anfield and even on virtual screenings.
