Liger starring Vijay Devarkonda and Ananya Panday released in the cinemas on August 25, and here's how the Janta reacted to the film!
Liger (Vijay Devarkonda) is raised by a single mother Balamani (Ramya Krishnan) who really wants her son to be an MMA fighter like his dad once was. She calls herself a tigress and her late husband a lion, and hence their son is named Liger. So the two move to Mumbai from Telangana, where he trains under a famous coach (Ronit Roy). The only condition his coach has to make him win the National championships is for him to stay focused and not get distracted whatsoever. Here's when Tanya (Ananya Panday) enters his life, and things go haywire. Tanya is an influencer who falls in love with Liger and pursues him relentlessly. The only catch is that she's the sister of Liger's nemesis Sanju (Vishnu). There's also Mike Tyson doing a cameo as Liger's childhood hero and making his Bollywood debut. The film is directed by Puri Jagannadh and produced by Dharma Productions.
