The Koffee with Karan season 7 finale was a hilarious roast of Karan Johar by the esteemed and 'influential' jury of the Koffee awards!

The Koffee with Karan season 7 finale closes the season with a bang while also announcing the renewal of a new one that'll be on the horizon soon enough!

The Koffee with Karan season 7 finale was the perfect closure for the show. The jury that had Kusha Kapila, Tanmay Bhatt, Danish Sait, and Niharika NM proved how our favorite content creators and comedians are no less than celebs these days. Season 7 came with a lot of excitement after a really long gap. There were so many laugh-out-loud moments, some “conjectures” that were confronted, and as usual some brewing controversies. Some pairs were so unexpected and fun to watch while some just fell flat. Regardless of what the audience has to say about the show, one thing is for sure, KWK season 7 always had all eyes on it. 

This season, in particular, we saw a more raw and real side of the celebrities when they were just being their unfiltered selves. Many spoke candidly about their sex lives and normalized conversations around it! Having said that, this season still did not feel at par with the previous ones. Maybe it was the odd pairings, Karan's monotonous monologues that gave the impression of him clarifying himself, or the same old rapid-fire questions; something just felt off but we still couldn't stop watching one episode after the other.

In the finale episode, we see the four jury members discussing every little detail of this season, having intense discussions on who should get the awards and why, while also giving the host a taste of his own medicine by constantly interrogating him. Deny all you want but we've all had these little discussions about the show at our workplace or at parties and given awards in our heads too. Honestly, the best part was when Karan called the celebrities to let them know they'd won and how they couldn't care less about it, especially Sonam Kapoor who had the same nonchalance on call as she did in her episode. 

The finale sure did have many such highlights and also moments that’ll make your stomach hurt from laughing! 

The episode began with Karan wanting to address everything said about this season. That obviously includes how he has mentioned Alia's name in literally every episode like a hundred times, to the point where Alia herself had to ask him to stop it.

He finally told us why he was more partial to Janhvi over Sara!

His FOMO for not being invited to all the recent celebrity weddings, especially Vicky and Katrina!

For once, he was on the receiving end of the controversial questions!

Best Moment - Sonam Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor for Shiva No. 1

Like Tanmay Bhatt, we too would love to watch an hour of Sonam Kapoor just getting movie names wrong. Calling Brahmastra Shiva No. 1 was definitely one of the best moments from the show and Sonam not giving a damn about it just adds to the fun!

Best Rapid Fire - Ranveer Singh

The most entertaining and honest rapid-fire round of the season for sure!

Best Episode - Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh

The two 'sakhis' won the best episode for Ranveer's outstanding impressions of other actors and Alia opening up about her marriage. All of us can watch this episode on loop!

Best Performance Male - Arjun Kapoor

People come and go but Arjun Kapoor is permanent on the show. The jury felt he needed to be acknowledged for talking about his emotional eating. Something we rarely see actors talks about!

Best Performance Female - Samantha Prabhu

South superstars don't talk about their personal lives the way she did and I think we all related when she said that life is not K3G but KGF!

So this wraps up season 7 of Koffee with Karan! The episode ended with Karan announcing the arrival of season 8 which will be out much sooner than we expect it. We cannot wait to know who will be paired up for the upcoming season!
