The trailer of Kissing Booth 3 is out and it still sticks to its patent idea of a tussle between love and friendship along with focus on self.
Netflix just released the trailer of Kissing Booth 3 and nobody can keep calm. The first two installments of the Kissing Booth series took the world by storm and entered the teen drama culture instantly. As per the looks of this trailer, the harrowing conflict at the heart remains the same, a choice between love and friendship but with an added twist of looking out for self.
The Kissing Booth 3 will take up from where it left us, with that cliffhanger of whether its protagonist, Elle (Joey King), will go to Harvard or UC Berkeley. This last film in the teen movie trilogy follows Elle as she spends the summer after her high school graduation at a beach house. With her weirdly possessive boyfriend, Noah (Jacob Elordi), and her weirdly possessive best friend, Lee (Joel Courtney). Both of them wanting her to go to college with them at Harvard and Berkeley, respectively. Now Elle must choose between the two at the risk of alienating the other. While some old faces come back and help her figure out her future course of action, Elle enjoys finishing up the beach bucket list with Lee while spending some quality time with Noah.
If the plot of The Kissing Booth 3, sounds suspiciously similar to the plots of The Kissing Booth 2 and The Kissing Booth, that’s because it is. Maybe that’s a part of its charm? The movie is based on a series of novels by Beth Reekles and drops on Netflix on August 11.
