Here’s all Priyata Rajput had to share with us:
What made you start creating content and when did you begin?
"Food Intimacy started 3 years ago purely by accident! Let it not be a sob story but I was going through severe anxiety and cooking was my only escape. I randomly started posting ‘food pictures‘ and the digital appreciation got me exploring my innate love for food even more. Since then I’ve made a couple of transitions to the kind of content I share but
the effort and love has been constant."
What makes your content stand out?
"My feed is a reflection of me i.e. healthy, not boring! Though I started off by eating out (and still do my bit of trying and recommending various places) gradually I’ve come to terms with home-cooked food, easy recipes, healthy eating options etc. Initially, I was hesitant in making a shift from pure junk to healthy but I had to share my journey of change in food choices and honestly, I’m amazed at the kind of response received. You will find short recipe videos, detailed information about ingredients used along with some cheat meals!"
How do you choose what to promote on your feed and what not to?
"If there’s one thing about my page it’s honesty. I don’t promote products, items or restaurants that I haven’t reviewed myself. Also, if there’s something that I won’t put into my body then I won’t advertise it, not even for money! ..and if I like certain products I promote them unasked cause even if one person finds it useful, I believe it’s worth it!"
One instance/experience that made it all worthwhile?
"Well, there are a few but the kind of love and appreciation I’ve received from absolute strangers is a blessing! I might be going through a rough day but a couple of DMs thanking and sending pictures of food they cooked watching my recipes makes it all worthwhile. There are students living alone who want easy recipes, foreigners travelling to
India seeking recommendations, young girls wanting healthy skin; being able to help them out is the true value of this page."
What does a regular day look like?
"I juggle with a lot of other things apart from Instagramming so my day usually consists of a few meetings but I make time for a video shoot or recipe curation and creating tons of other content or just trying out a place to share info with my followers if they should or shouldn’t visit there!"

How do you make moolahs?
"I work as a marketing consultant which btw only happened courtesy Instagram. I landed a pretty stable job doing what I learnt on IG in the past few years. Other than that there are brand collabs, paid partnerships that help me pay my bills!"
Where do you get ideas for your videos?
"Maa and the Internet! I’ve been watching my maa and grandma cook for decades and I try to recreate or improvise their recipes. Other than that I’m pretty fascinated by offbeat ingredients that I see in the supermarket or have seen over the years on TLC. I just pick em up and begin my kitchen chronicles!"
Weirdest brief ever received?
" Please 'VIRAL' post banado. While I understand the client’s need for a successful campaign, it’s almost impossible to ‘create’ a viral post. According to me, viral just happens but it’s pretty hard to explain."
If not an influencer, what would you be?
"I am a lot other things cause my soul can’t rest on one. I’m an artist, a teacher, a marketing consultant, and wish to play so many more roles. However, I do not consider myself an ‘influencer’ cause I believe it comes with a lot of responsibility, accountability and the title must be reserved to people who influence life decisions and bigger aspects. Choosing what to eat, wear, buy is simply the view of a more digitally communicative world and I’m super happy to be able to share things that I like for people to make a wise decision on whether to use it or not."
Message/tips for upcoming bloggers
"Find your niche! The competition nowadays leaves a lot of newcomers stranded looking for their 2 minutes fame. Build slow, but build strong! Stay consistent, authentic and positive!"
