Can you describe your journey as a comedy creator on social media? What inspired you to start creating comedy content?
My journey as a comedy creator on social media began unexpectedly. Though I always had a desire to create content, I never actively pursued it until one day when I spontaneously uploaded an old clip that unexpectedly went viral. From that moment, my foray into comedy content creation took off, and while it feels like the journey has just begun, it's been an exhilarating ride so far!
How do you differentiate your comedy style from other creators?
While I admire the creativity of fellow creators in the comedy space, I strive to set my content apart by incorporating a diverse range of characters that reflect observations from my surroundings and society.
Can you share some insights into the process of crafting your comedy content? How do you develop and refine ideas before sharing them with your audience?
As I mentioned, I create what I see, so when an idea strikes, I start envisioning various scenarios and characters that could unfold within that scene. A little improvisation during the shoot adds spontaneity to the final product.
Have you noticed any significant changes in audience preferences or trends in comedy content consumption on social media over the years? How do you adapt to these changes?
Absolutely, I've noticed a shift in audience preferences away from content containing abusive language or themes, and I also refrain from using such words.
Can you share a memorable experience journey as a comedy creator on social media?
College festivals have provided some of the most memorable experiences in my journey. Being invited to many college festivals and experiencing the immense love and support from the audience first hand has been incredibly rewarding. The energy and enthusiasm of the crowd make these experiences truly unforgettable.
How do you handle negative feedback or criticism on social media, especially regarding your comedy content?
If the feedback is constructive, I use it as an opportunity to improve my content. However, if it's unwarranted or hateful, I choose to ignore it.
What do you envision for the future of comedy content creation on social media platforms?
Diversifying content and creating relatable content are going to be the key factors in shaping the future of content creation.
What advice would you give aspiring comedy creators looking to establish themselves on social media platforms?
Be consistent. Make whatever your heart says. Be honest with yourself and your audience.
