Kesari is based on an incredible true story of the famous Battle of Saragarhi, Havildar Isher Singh( Akshay Kumar) leading an army of 21 Sikh soldiers of the British Indian army fight against 10,000 Afghan invaders who fight to the death and are considered by some as the history’s greatest last- stand.

The movie also focuses on the colour Kesari ( saffron) where the soldiers are wearing Saffron turbans indicating the colour of bravery and valour, not only fighting against the Pathans but the Britishers too.

The trailer looks very impressive with rustic war scenes, using a unique technique of sword and patriotic dialogues by Akshay Kumar, with heartfelt music in the background and outstanding cinematography will give us chills.

Those movie buffs who have seen Zack Snyder’s 300 starring Gerard Butler as King Leonidas will strike similarities between the trailer and the film as both of them share similar concept, also neither does 21 Sikh soldiers survive in the battle of Saragarhi nor does the 300 greek soldiers who fight till the last breath.

Kesari seems to have won the hearts of our Twitterati's, let's see what they have to say about this trailer!

The trailer looks enormous and we can’t wait for the movie to release!
