Twitterati share their take on the newly released Kedarnath with Kedarnath Movie review on Twitter. While some chose to praise Sara and Sushant for their acting, for some it was a ‘common story’ narrating nothing new.
Kedarnath was truly the much-awaited movie of 2018 and has hit the silver screen today with huge expectations. Other than the storyline, it has set the balls rolling for Sara Ali Khan, the debutant who has always been pit against her contemporary Jhanvi Kapoor. While Jhanvi embarked on the acting journey with Dhadak before Sara, the latter’s entry was touted to be the coveted one.
Starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan in the lead role, Kedarnath is helmed by Abhishek Kapoor fondly called as ‘Gattu Kapoor’ by industrywallahs.
The film weaves a romantic drama disaster tale set amidst the Uttarakhand flash floods that wrought havoc and destruction in in the pilgrim place in 2013. Simultaneously it also puts the spotlight on an inter-faith love story between a wealthy Hindu girl (Sara) who takes a pilgrimage to the Kedarnath Temple based in Uttarakhand and a humble Muslim boy (Sushant) who becomes her guide.
While the trade analysts have predicted a huge opening for Kedarnath time will tell what it has in store. Movie-goers have already started reviewing the movie where it has managed to garner mixed reactions. Let’s see what’s their verdict:

Unconvincing love story... Sketchy and unexciting screenwriting... Few momentsstand out... Emotions are superficial... Sara Ali Khan makes a terrific debut... Sushant is ordinary... #KedarnathReview pic.twitter.com/mP7LRD2nFm

#Kedarnath is Sara’s Sawariya.

Very boring and unwatchably bad. The leads share a poor chemistry.
Sara can act though & is definitely gonna have a bright future ahead. It sucks that she is starting her career with Kedarnath & Simmba pic.twitter.com/9A5p1BGVZR
#Kedarnath | Tushar Kanti Ray’s cinematography is perfection! Breathtaking shots of Uttarakhand will leave you dreaming of the scenic mountains. Use of CGI to depict the Kedarnath tragedy is cleverly executed. The climax will leave you on the edge of your seat! Quite impressive. pic.twitter.com/PJVtBK5Nvf

Saw #Kedarnath. Thank you @RonnieScrewvala for inviting. Best wishes to Gattu, Sushant and the team. Was incredibly impressed with the debut of Sara. She is a delight to watch.

#Kedarnath reports are bad.

I don’t agree with petition/violence to censor movies and all. But going by the trailer #Kedarnath has an insensitive & ugly script. Thousands of people died and movie is signalling that these deaths were due to Hindus objecting to marriage of a girl with a Muslim boy? Shameful. https://t.co/ahXiSS0M07

#SaraAliKhan owns each & every frame of her screen time in #Kedarnath, making it impossible for us to believe that this is her first. A total cut-paste of her mother, you can't help but have a smile whenever she appears. She is here to RULE??

#Kedarnath Early public response is they have given a thumbs up to this movie. They appreciated the love story and the disaster sequence of Kedarnath is told to be outstanding. What steals the show is #SaraAliKhan with a STELLER debut. All praise for her.

(2/2) #KedarnathReview : #Kedarnath is equivalent to combined boredom of disastrous films like Raabta, Sawariya, Roy, Anjana Anjani & Namaste England!
